“Nouns” is a collection of 30 prose-poems each of which attempts to define a noun. The collection reads as
a constellation of narratives, a space where the familiar collides with the fantastical to create associations that are as humorous as they are heartbreaking.
Designed to look like a pocket-sized poetry book, “Nouns” brings out a compact yet light feel as it consists of
one kind of paper, inside and out.
Each book is accompanied by a unique postcard from a series of illustrations, eight in total, made by the author Margarita Athanasiou.
The postcards were printed at the
risoprinter of DOLCE in one, two
or three colors and they are all
numbered. Each illustration comes in
an edition of 44.
